Some
of the Apartments to rent are situated on the ground floor,
which is very useful for those who may have difficulties as
well as being ideal and safer for young children. Only a few
yards from a beautifully designed swimming pool (heated in the
winter) which is graded
gradually going from 1”to 6ft in depth. There is also a
poolside bar, which is popular with holidaymakers and residents
alike. The area nearly always enjoys a sea breeze, so the heat
is not so much a problem as in the nearby main resort areas
of Los Cristianos & Las Americas. |

Most
of the apartments are fully furnished and equipped with most
items including TV's. The bedrooms have twin beds, built in
wardrobes, chests of draws, and bedside cupboards with lamps.
Usually there is a bed settee in each lounge, which opens
out into a double bed. While most have TV some also have video
players, however both video machines and tapes can be hired
locally if required.

They
have fully fitted kitchens, which are all-electric and have
a mains oven with 4 hobs together with an extractor fan. Each
one has a fridge with a freezer compartment as well as kettles
and toasters, with ample cutlery and, cups, glasses, plates
etc. There is a broom cupboard with ironing board, electric
iron etc. Each bathroom is fully fitted with sink, bath, shower
bidet and w.c

There
is live entertainment almost every evening at Pebble Beach
Village with restaurants also available, as well as a supermarket,
launderette and a number bars.
The
popular resorts of Costa de Silencio, Tenbel, and Las Galletas
are only minutes away. As is the fishing village of Los
Abrigos with it's very much frequented seafood restaurants
and the wind surfing resort of El Medano, which is just
the other side of the airport.
Castillo
San Miguel is close by with it's Mediaeval Nights of Banqueting
and Jousting as well as dancing in the Castle's Main Hall
to the famous original 'Drifters' American singing group,
a visit not to be missed.
The
Alabama on the road from San Isidro to Granadilla is very
good to go to for a late night on a Saturday and Sunday,
but do not get there before 10 pm, the music (R'n'B &
Soul) is fantastic

Beaches The best beaches are in the south, Playa de las Americas
and Los Cristianos where the volcanic, dark sands have been
mixed with golden sand from the Sahara. Good Black sand beaches
at Los Gigantes and Playa de la Arena.

duty free shopping, particularly electrical goods, Lace, Ceramics,
Leather & Exotic local flowers.

Good golf
courses in both north & south. Water sports, Tennis, Hang-gliding

de las Americas is the No1 place with some of the most vibrant,
all-night night life in Spain. Puerto de la Cruz is lively
but more sophisticated. In February, Carnival celebrations
bring the whole Island to life.

fish - Vieja and Sama. Carnes Asados - charcoal-grilled meats
and Pollo Asado - charcoal-grilled chicken. Potaje - a thick
potato soup with meat and lentils. Mojo Picon - a hot, spicy
